Near SA2

SA2 is a very important exam especially for me.To get ready for the exams there was another exam the CA2.The CA2 will help me gain confidence for my SA2 exams.But if u do not do well all your confidence will be gone. I think that happened to me. I passed all but did not do well. I wish i had done well. But i have confidence in myself.

SA1 in Secondary school

I am sure many of us would have known that the SA1 exams are just around tha corner.Ia m trying my best to study hard but there are toooo many things to study!
I am feeling quite stressed.i am not sure of how to manage my time sometimes but i hope i can get it right.I think i can do well in my exams with some hardwork.All the best to myself!

My New School

After a long December holiday, i finally got to go school again. it was not Anderson Primary school anymore it is Guangyang secondary school. I met many new friends in this new environment. But i can never forget my friends, teachers in anderson. Everything is different now. No more 4 subjects but 9-10 subjects.Althoug it is a bit difficult, i think i can take it. I got a good enjoyable CCA too. It is RED CROSS YOUTH.

I will promise to return to my favourite school, Anderson Pri Sch.

PSLE 2009

The PSLE results have finally been out after a long wait. Though the mathematics paper was tough, i still did my best. When i saw the results on 26 November I was so shocked as i got 2 As, 1B and a C. I was so happy as i went into express.

My aggregate was a little low for some of the school i had chosen but i did not worry about that at all. I chose Guangyang as my first choice as it was most appropriate for my marks and also it was a very good school.

I miss my school and classmates alot especially my favourite teacher Mr Alan Tan. I hope i would be able to see them another time.

From now onwards i will have to study well and not laze around like a slot.

Singapore Kindness Movement

Kindness is the thing that many people lack nowadays. I think kindness means helping others and treating elderly and many people with respect.

Kindness is very important because it shows your behaviour and attidude.

We can show kindness in our daily lives by greeting your teachers, giving a helping hand to elderly people and do not speak rudely infront of others.

Most Singaporeans are not very gracious but with this activity i think many people will cange their hearts.

Some kind acts are:

1: Making way for alighting passengers
2: Apologising when i am in the wrong
3: Lowering the volume of tv after 10 pm
4: Initiating friendly conversations with neighbours and colleagues in the elevator
5: Noticing the people around to offer assistance when needed
6: Inviting the newbie at work or school for lunch.

Earth hour

Earth hour is a period of time which you switch off all lights and cut down on electricity. It was held on 28 March from 8.30-9.30. This event is organised to save electricity and to tell people to save electricity because many families in Singapore do not save electricity.

My family and i joined this event too. At first i thought this was not necessary but later i realised its importance. I went down with my brother and to play in the playground.

The Earth is facing many threats like, Global warming and many others. We can stop this by not cutting down to many trees.

Museum Trip

This is my second time going to the museum. Last time I went i did not enjoy myself alot but this time i really did. I think itis a very good experience to go with your friends and teacher instead of your parents.

In Singapore we rally need a museum especially for students and tourists to know about Singapore's rich history.

There were many different kind of galleries there, but my favourite was the food gallery and the living gallery. When i entered the food gallery, i could smell the aroma of many different dishes. The living gallery had the history of Singapore where learnt a lot about Singapore's history.

I learnt that during WW2 many people suffered from the Japanese.

This was an experience that i can never forget.
